The new Autumn Toile designer series paper by Stampin' Up!® is stunning. You're gonna want to add it to your stash. It's perfect for fall themed cards and a few of the patterns are great for masculine cards. It's also part of a mega suite- Autumn Toile Suite and it includes two bundles (stamps and dies), streaked dots embellishments, a spool of irregular weave trim, Earthen toned metallic paper, and Autumn Toile dsp. What's not to love here?
On page 42 of the September-December 2025 mini catalog, you'll find a one sheet wonder template. I just love that Stampin' Up!® packs in the ideas with loads of samples and little tid bits throughout the catalog.
I used the cutting guide and modified a few things and made six autumn themed cards. For my live video I used the pumpkin toile dsp. Watch the replay below. Here are my finished cards:
You can keep it simple and use just one side of the paper and add on greetings. Or you can layer it up and flip over your busy pattern and use the other side with die cuts. I love how versatile this paper is. What paper do you have in your stash that you can use to create 6 quick cards using this template?
Cutting Instructions/One Sheet Wonder Template (from Stampin' Up!®):
- Pick a 12x12" patterned paper.
- Cut at 4" and then 4". This gives you 3 pieces of 4" x12" strips.
- Cut the first strip at 1 1/2", 5 1/4". This gives you 3 pieces measuring 4" x 1" 1/2, 4" x 5 1/4" and 4" x 5 1/4". I cut the 4" x 1 1/2" piece in half for my cards. Use the extra piece to decorate the inside.
- Cut the second strip at 3 3/4", 5 1/4". This gives you 3 pieces measuring 4" x 3 3/4", 4" x 5 1/4" and 4" x 3".
- Cut the third strip just like the first one. Again, I cut the 4" x 1/2" piece in half for my cards.
Grab colored cardstock to match your patterned paper and sort the pieces out.
- Card 1, 2, 3 use a 4" x 5 1/4" piece.
- Card 4 uses the 4" x 3 3/4" and 4" x 5 1/4" pieces.
- Card 5 uses the 4" x 1/2" (x2) and 4" x 5 1/4" pieces.
- Card 6 uses the 4" x 3" piece.
You can do different techniques with each card like Stampin' Up!® has shown in the mini catalog. I changed my cards up a little. It's fun to see how everyone uses this template and creates their own unique cards. Stampin' Up!'s samples each feature a technique.
Techniques:
- Card 1: use blending brush and ink to alter dsp.
- Card 2: use coloring tool (stampin' blends markers) to add color to toile design.
- Card 3: cut images from dsp and layer on textured element. add in die cuts and heat emboss greeting.
- Card 4: use large die to die cut shape from dsp. layer strips to separate the two dsps and heat emboss greeting.
- Card 5: create banners and layer images die cut from dsp. use circle cut from dsp for greeting.
- Card 6: alter dsp pattern with stampin' blends markers.
Here are my first six cards I made. I used the Mossy Meadow patterned piece with the pheasant toile. This paper is gorgeous. I love the scenes. It's great for anyone who loves the outdoors and masculine cards.
I hope you have fun with this template Stampin' Up! gave us. Have fun layering elements and making your set of cards.
