Tri-fold Christmas card with Peaceful Cabin stamp set and Everyday Arches dies by Stampin' Up!®

Today, I'm sharing a card I made on my Coffee and a Card Facebook live. I decided to use some favorites from my stash and make a card for "Christmas in July". I'd love to say I make my Christmas cards this far ahead but I don't. Kudos to those that are getting them done early. My card features the Peaceful Cabin bundle by Stampin' Up!®. It's retired now and has a stamp set with coordinating dies.

Mix your favorites from your stash with new favorites. I used the Peaceful Cabin set with Everyday Arches dies to create this tri-fold card. I used Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Gray Granite. The new Cloud Cover in-color gives it a soft feel. I'm really loving the new Secret Sea in-color. It's a deep dark blue.

Measurements:
  • Everyday Arches die #1 (largest) - cut 3 from Secret Sea cardstock
  • Everyday Arches die #3- cut 3 from Cloud Cover two tone cardstock (light side)
  • Everyday Arches die #4 - cut 4 from Basic White cardstock
  • Cardstock connector 3" x 2" scored at 1"- cut 2 from Secret Sea cardstock
  • Optional layer for the back of the last panel- Everyday Arches die #2 cut from Basic White cardstock

Once your pieces are cut, stamp the Basic White layers with the trees, fence and cabin from Peaceful Cabin to create a scene. On the first panel, the trees are stamped in Old Olive classic ink. Then stamp a fox in Gray Granite classic ink and snowflakes in Cloud Cover classic ink. One the second panel, stamp the fence in Gray Granite classic ink, snowflakes in Cloud Cover classic ink and the greeting in Secret Sea classic ink. For the third panel, you'll use two white arches. On the first one, stamp trees in Old Olive Classic ink and snowflakes in Cloud Cover classic ink. On the second, stamp the cabin about midway down in Gray Granite classic ink. Then use the coordinating die to cut the layer.

Use a light Gray Granite Stampin' blend marker to add in snowy lines, color in the fox and the cabin roof. Use a light Crumb Cake Stampin' blend marker to color the cabin.

Adhere the Basic White arches to the Cloud Cover arches. For the third panel, adhere the cabin layer to the tree layer, then adhere it to the Cloud Cover arch. Adhere these layers to the Secret Sea arches.
Attach card together with the connector pieces. Adhere a connector onto the first panel and second panel, then adhere the another onto the second and third. This creates an accordion fold. The first panel fold back and the third panel folds in. It folds like a Z fold card. See video on how I connected the panels.
