Hot Cocoa themed Pocket Card

This cute pocket card is for you! I give tons of gift cards around the holidays and for many other occasions. You can create pocket cards and decorate them up any way you like. 

For this card set, I used Cherry Cobbler, Pecan Pie, Pool Party, and Pretty Peacock. I love to use fun color combos. My hot cocoa themed pocket cards feature the More than Autumn bundle. The bundle includes a stamp set and coordinating dies. It's super cute and covers many occasions. I stamped my cups and marshmallows in Basic Gray classic ink. (You could use Smoky Slate too) Then I colored them with Pool Party and Pretty Peacock blends. I didn't add any coloring to my marshmallows. You could add in shading if you wanted. The stamp set includes the cute little images of a candy cane and gingerbread man. I colored those with blends as well- light Cherry Cobbler and Pecan Pie. If you're not familiar with Stampin' Up!'s alcohol markers, they come in a combo set of a light and a dark. 

The background was created with the Sketched Plaid background stamp (seriously one of my favs!). I stamped it in Pretty Peacock classic ink onto Basic White cardstock (5 1/4" x 4"). Then I added some colors with my Stampin' Blends markers. I love customizing this stamped image. I used light Pool Party, light Cherry Cobbler and light Pecan Pie. 

I love that I can dress up the pocket any way I like and customize it to the recipient. Add a gift card to the little pull out notecard along with a little special message. If you need more room for your message, you can add a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of white cardstock to the back.

Change it up and use fun color combos for your seasonal cards. I used a Cherry Cobbler base and pocket on this card.
